MFI is on its way back

Remember MFI, the epitome of assemble-it-yourself furniture long before anyone had heard of IKEA? Well, the once-ubiquitous retailer could soon be making a comeback.

Its website, complete with a prominent Walker Group logo, is carrying the following announcement: “In line with ever-changing retail landscape [sic], MFI is being specifically refreshed to offer a more innovative and design-led product range and shopping experience, whilst continuing the tradition of offering great choice and value for money backed up with first-class customer service and support.

“The MFI brand re-launch promises to be one of the most eagerly-anticipated events in the UK retail calendar.”
